ESP is difficult for me and I write a self-assessment of success in learning this subject after almost four months.
WRITING A SUMMARY
I like to write summaries. I think that so I easier realize teaching material. Although, my summaries are average, but when I wrote it, I would understand essence and memorize texts.
WRITING COMPREHENSION TESTS ON MODULES IN PSYCHOLOGY
I do badly tests on modules, because definitions are difficult and I hardly memorize them as I say over it. Vocabulary is specific and difficult as some themes are easy.
MAKING POWER POINT PRESENTATIONS
Making power point presentation is very interesting for me. I know more specific words and information of particular subjects. I think that power point presentations are useful not only for me but and my colleagues.
IMPROMPTU SPEAKING IN CLASS
This part is doing the worst for me. I feel diffidence and unwarranted. Also, I do not imagine what speak impromptu. I like when I have to speak prepare on. I spoke a few in class, because I do not know what to say.
PERFORMANCE IN LISTENING PRACTICE
Listening practice is not very difficult, but and not very easy. It helps me to develop the theme, I understand it point. I think that listening practice is very useful.
WRITING CONTRIBUTIONS TO E-PORTFOLIO (WEBLOG)
I enjoy writing to weblog, because it let me make points, there is I can choose a weblog design and illustrate my contributions and summaries. I think that this learning ESP is not very instrumental, but it affords delight.
In conclusion, I think that now I better learn in ESP than in September. I think that the most successful methods in learning ESP for me are writing a summary, listening practice and writing contributions to weblog.
